Day 33 - Cabinets

It's a KITCHEN!! In the last 10 days, not a whole lot that is picture worthy has happened ... until yesterday when the cabinets arrived. Now it actually looks like a kitchen! Declan (our kitchen designer) said he's never done any cabinets this tall (~112"). Apparently they are VERY heavy ... and there was one guy who put up all of these that you see in these pictures in just 6 hours ... all by himself. He's finishing up today.

Also today the granite was templated (they figured out the exact sizes of each piece). I can't wait for you guys to see the counter tops. The color is Typhoon green from India and I really like it. We were going to go with a dark brown/black counter, but that slab of rock wasn't big enough. Just as well, I like this one every better, and it a LOT lighter in color. Should be here next week.
