Here's a recap ...
Day 12 (May 2nd): We got a sticker ... that's about it. I didn't take a picture. It wasn't that exciting. The sticker is for our electrical "inspection" that took about 30 seconds (I am NOT exaggerating either ... just ask Matt).
This was also Oaks Day (Thank you Tony Green for the tickets!) It rained a lot (see the picture of Jeremy at left)Here's a link to our pictures (I'm too lazy to upload them all right now.)
Day 13 - 14: Derby weekend ... that's a holiday in Louisville. NOBODY works unless you are in the entertainment, restaurant, or racing industries ... or your boss is from out-of-town or something.
Day 15 - 18: Framing inspection and floors ... that's about it. Here are some pix of our floors in progress. It takes awhile to cut and install all of those boards.
These 2 pictures are from Tuesday night. They have a lot more boards in now ... but it's not really that picture worthy. Doesn't look a whole heck of a lot different ... except that there are more boards.
And also in the last few days we've had a bunch of stuff bloom in our yard. It's like the Victory Garden out there. Here are some pictures ...
This is one of the Clemetis (spelling?) that is growing up one of our dozen or so rose bushes. And here are the rest of my pictures (again, not uploading all of them). I'm aspiring to be more like Ansel. Maybe that's what my next career will be ....
